I wanted a home where a bigger group of children could grow up like cousins.
Lachelle runs Cuddle from her own home in Maumee. She plans the week, cooks lunch, reads the picture books and meets every family at the door at pickup.
She keeps the group to twelve children at most, with Liza beside her, so each child still gets a lap and a name.

Lunch is cooked here, at the stove behind the big table: soups, rice and beans, roasted vegetables and fruit in season. Babies eat on their own schedule, and everyone else sits down together.
