Frequently asked questions
What ages do you take?
From 6 weeks to 5 years. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers share the home, and each age has its own place on the floor, at the table and in the rest room.
How many children are here at once?
Up to 12 children, with 2 adults.
What does the license mean?
The state has licensed the home to care for a group of up to 12 children. Our license number is at the bottom of every page, and you can look it up with the state.
Can we visit before we decide?
Yes. Book a tour and Lachelle shows you the whole home, introduces you to Liza and answers whatever you ask. Children are welcome to come along.
What happens if Lachelle is out?
Liza runs the day, and a backup adult from our list steps in as the second adult. We tell you by text before you leave home.
Is anyone else in the house during the day?
The two adults who care for the group. A visitor or a delivery stays at the door.
How does tuition work?
It depends on your child's age, the schedule and the days a week. We give you the figures in writing at the tour.
What if my child is sick?
Children stay home with a fever or an illness that spreads, and come back when they are well enough for the day, outside included. If your child gets sick here, we call you right away.
Do you share photos of the children?
Only with your written permission, and never with a child's name. You can change your answer at any time.
How do I join the waitlist?
Tell us your child's age and the schedule you need, on the form or at a tour. When a place opens, we call the family that has waited longest for that age first.
Still have a question?
Call, text or write, and Lachelle will answer at the end of the day.
